Participants really liked Pastor Sam, Xenos and art workshop, but highlight from the camp was rope course in YWAM Valdemarpils Training Centre. We have there many low and high elements where people can learn teamwork and develop personality. Most of these elements needs strong hands and legs, but we where able to offer for every participants two high elements \u2013 \u201cFlying squirrel\u201d and \u201cGiant swing\u201d. During first one person is pulled 20m high to \u201cplay squirrel\u201d. It is not much asked from person himself, just trust people who are pulling you. It was so cool to see how people were pulled out from wheelchairs and flied up. Second element originally asking to climb up to tree to 9m high platform and make from there step to down what bring you to a giant swing. Some people from us did climb up even that it was really hard for them, but most others where pulled up to platform to sit and then they decided when they are let to fly. Feedback time participant said that first element was nothing comparing to second, but all of them who did both where really happy that they got challenged. This was something they never experienced before. One participants said that she have done and seen many crazy things, but something so crazy she even never thought. From other participant was asked what other activities he would like to see in next camp and he got confused and asked: \u201cYou mean something even more extreme?\u201d<\/p>\n Adding for our planned events came out that many participants where able to give interview for Latvian Christian Radio and Talsi TV. One of our staff is working in Christian Radio and this didn\u2019t come like surprise that she asked interviews, but Talsi TV was definitely surprise. During orienteering Talsi TV saw many wheelchairs (in Latvia people with wheelchair are seldom seen outside from Of course we did some mistakes and maybe some things wasn\u2019t thought still end, but generally people where really happy with camp and some even refused to go back at home. They complained that camp was too short and would need to be once a month not once a year. Sel aastal oli meil 13 osalejat ning 16 personali ja\/v\u00f5i isiklikku abistajat \u00fcle kogu L\u00e4ti ning m\u00f5nedel inimestel v\u00f5ttis Talsisse kohale j\u00f5udmine aega kaks p\u00e4eva.<\/p>\n Laagrilistele meeldisid v\u00e4ga pastor Sam, Xenos ja kunstit\u00f6\u00f6koda, kuid laagrikulminatsiooniks oli ekstreemp\u00e4ev Noorte Missiooni Valdemarpilsi \u00d5ppekeskuses. K\u00f5igil oli v\u00f5imalik osa v\u00f5tta k\u00f6iekursusest (inglise keeles rope course k\u00f5lab k\u00fcll natuke paremini), kuna meil on keskuses mitmeid k\u00f6itest tehtud madalaid ja k\u00f5rgeid elemente, kus grupid k\u00e4ivad ennast proovile panemas ning meeskonnat\u00f6\u00f6d \u00f5ppimas. Enamus nendest elementidest eeldab tugevat jalgade ja k\u00e4ttet\u00f6\u00f6d, kuid saime pakkuda meie laagrilistele kahte elementi: \u201eLendorav\u201c ning \u201eHiigelkiik\u201c. Esimene element viib inimese kiiresti 18m k\u00f5rgusele puude vahele, kus ta saab siis lennelda ja m\u00e4ngida oravat. Selles osalemiseks ei pea ise palju midagi tegema ning aitab vaid abistajate usaldamisest ning k\u00f5rguse kartusest \u00fcle saamisest. Tore oli vaadata kuidas ratastoolist \u00fclesse puude latvadesse lennati. Teine element oli keerulisem ning meie hulgas oli mitmeid inimesi, kes seda (veel) l\u00e4bida ei julgenud. Algselt on m\u00f5eldud, et osaleja ronib 9m k\u00f5rgusel olevale platvormile ning astub sealt alla t\u00fchjusesse ning l\u00f5petab puude vahel kiikumisega. Kuna enamus laagrilistest ei olnud v\u00f5imelised ise puu otsa ronima (oli ka neid, kelle jaoks oli see v\u00e4ga raske, kuid sellegipoolest ronisid), siis nemad t\u00f5mmati k\u00f6itega platvormile istuma ning iga\u00fcks sai ise otsutada, millal ta laseb end alla lennutada. K\u00f5ik osalejad \u00fctlesid, et esimene element oli \u201ek\u00e4kitegu\u201c v\u00f5rreldes teisega ning enamus poleks eluilmas uskunud, et on nii \u201ehullud\u201c tegemaks midagi nii ekstreemset. See oli v\u00f5imalus ennast proovile panna ning n\u00e4ha, et nad on v\u00f5imelised palju enamaks kui kunagi v\u00f5imalikuks pidasid .<\/p>\n Lisaks meie plaanitud \u00fcritustele saadi end proovile panna raadiole ja televisioonile intervjuusid andes. Raadio intervjuu ei tulnud meile tegelikult \u00fcllatusena, kuna \u00fcks meie personalist t\u00f6\u00f6tab L\u00e4ti kristlikus raadios, kuid televisoon oli k\u00fcll suureks \u00fcllatuseks. Talsi TV n\u00e4gi See oli meie esimene pikem laager ning loomulikult tegime selle ajal mitmeid vigu ning mitte k\u00f5ik tegevused ei olnud l\u00f5puni valmis m\u00f5eldud. Sellegipoolest j\u00e4id osalejad v\u00e4ga rahule ning kolm neist isegi keeldusid koju minemast, kuna peeti koos oldud aega liiga l\u00fchikeseks ning soovitati sellist laagrit korraldada mitte kord aastas vaid kord kuus. Igatahes oli laager v\u00e4ljakutseks nii osalejatele kui ka personalile ning seega sai laagri nimi \u00f5ieti pandud ;). Tunneme, et see oli vaid v\u00e4ike algus palju suuremale tegevusele.<\/p>\n Suur ait\u00e4h k\u00f5igile, kes te palvetasite! Meil oli v\u00e4ga ilus ilm (eriti siis kui pidime \u00f5ues olema), meil ei juhtunud \u00fchtegi suuremat \u00f5nnetust (eriti lasime palvetada ekstreemp\u00e4eva p\u00e4rast), meil oli (peaaegu) parasjagu personali ning me tulime v\u00e4lja ka finantsiliselt. We had lectures \u2013 Bible and Disability, Bible and Depression, How to Study Bible, personality test; we had music and art workshop. Some of them had no idea, that they are artists or that they are able to paint. For example Madara who is not able to use her hands very much, completed her work with elbow. I am not sure that I have heard elbow artist before, but now we have one. We also had sport and games, morning exercises, orienteering in Talsi, movie night and Kaspar did for most of participants physiotherapy or\/and massage. We also had some guests: Xenos (famous Latvian Christian music group) did concert, Pastor Sam from India came to preach and we had photo show from person who spent 11 years on YWAM ship \u201cAnastasis\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>After people finished their rope course elements we were offering for everyone Quattro cycle ride. We didn\u2019t have special seat this year, but every participant was able to experience \u201csandwich\u201d when he was sitting behind Kaspars and secured by Andis. Some people was really scared and said that physically they are not able to do it, but there were way for everyone. Adding for all extreme things people did, they were also able to receive \u201cpet therapy\u201d (we had in training centre one cat, two dogs and 8 puppies) and finished day with bonfire.<\/p>\n<\/a> home) struggling on Talsi bad roads and they came to ask what happening. They got so excited that decided to come to film our activities and to take some short interviews. Meil olid loengud teemal Piibel ja puudega inimene, Piibel ja depressioon, kuidas \u00f5ppida Piiblit ning tegime testi, et teada saada oma isiksuse omadusi. Loengutele lisaks oli meil kahel p\u00e4eval muusika ja kunsti t\u00f6\u00f6tuba. Enamusel ei olnud aimugi, et neil on kunstianne ning v\u00f5imalus end selle kaudu v\u00e4ljendada. N\u00e4iteks oli meie hulgas Madara, kelle k\u00e4eline motoorika on v\u00e4ga n\u00f5rk, kuid temast sai k\u00fc\u00fcnarnuki kunstnik. Ma polegi veel sellisest maalimise viisist kuulnud ning ta juhendajale meeldis see nii palju, et lubas ise kodus k\u00fc\u00fcnarnuki stiili j\u00e4rgi proovida. Peale istuva tegevuse toimusid meil sport ja m\u00e4ngud, hommikuv\u00f5imlemine, orienteerumine Talsi linnas, filmi\u00f5htu ning Kaspar p\u00fc\u00fcdis enamikele osalejatest v\u00e4hemalt korra f\u00fcsioteraapiat ja\/v\u00f5i massaazi teha. Olime kutsunud ka k\u00fclalisi ning esimesel \u00f5htul andis laagrilistele kontserdi Xenos (L\u00e4ti tuntud kristlik b\u00e4nd), oma reisimuljeid jagas ning pilte n\u00e4itas 11 aastat Noorte Missiooni laeval \u201eAnastasis\u201c t\u00f6\u00f6tanud Guntars ning Jumala S\u00f5na jagas Indiast p\u00e4rit, kuid praegu L\u00e4tis elav pastor Sam.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Peale k\u00f6iekursust s\u00f5idutas Kaspar k\u00f5iki osalejaid ATV-ga. Alguses \u00fctles enamus osalejaist, et nemad ei julge s\u00f5ita v\u00f5i ei ole v\u00f5imelised ATV-le istuma. Meie kartusest ei hoolinud ning leidsime k\u00f5igile individuaalse istumise viisi.
